TBWA Names John Norman CCO, Promotes Rob Schwartz

TBWA/Chiat/Day named John Norman as its new Chief Creative Officer last Thursday. In addition, Rob Schwartz was promoted to the new network role of Global Creative President of TBWA Worldwide.

Norman is the former Chief Creative Officer of The Martin Agency. He got his start in the industry in graphic design, followed by a role at Wieden+Kennedy as Executive Creative Director in its Amsterdam Office. He said in a press release that he is excited that his new role at TBWA will offer him a new creative atmosphere.

“TBWA/Chiat/Day has a creative DNA that is legendary,” Norman said. “I look forward to working with the whole Chiat team and the clients in that environment.”

"I'm thrilled that John is going to be joining us in LA," said Schwartz in the statement. "The office has been on a roll lately, and John is really going to amplify things here."

Schwartz's promotion comes after after holding the top creative role in LA for the past five years. Tom Carroll, President and CEO of TBWA worldwide, also said in a press release that both Schwartz and Norman’s new roles will be great new assets to the company.
