ABC: Newspaper Reader-Per-Copy Data Is Misleading

Current calculations of newspaper circulation often underestimate the actual readers-per-copy figure of most newspapers, finds a new study released Tuesday by the Audit Bureau of Circulations. The report reveals other key newspaper readership trends, including a seemingly counterintuitive one: that the number of adult readers is actually increasing, particularly on Sundays.
