Fischer Assumes Corporate Market Strategy Post At Turner

Barry Fischer, the chief sales marketing strategist at Turner Broadcasting System, and author of its Media at the Millennium series of research studies, Thursday was named to the addition role of executive vice president of marketing strategy for TBS Inc. unit. Fischer, who will continue to work with Turner's sales organization and oversee strategic marketing projects such as Media at the Millennium, will assume a broader role in corporate level strategy, including competitive intelligence initiatives, upfront ad sales strategy and ad sales support systems and operations.
