Starting this week, real estate professionals looking for the reach of a newspaper combined with online targeting can turn to the Chicago Tribune, which has announced Trib Homes Plus. "Newspapers are
still one of the most trusted sources for real estate listings," said Barb Swanson, director/classified advertising for Chicago Tribune. "But a lot of buyers, especially first-time buyers, are
supplementing their search on the Internet. We've come up with a solution that puts our advertisers in front of the best-qualified buyers in print and online." Starting at $49, Trib Homes Plus
includes a print ad in one of the Tribune's Real Estate sections -- complete with photo, brief description and open house information -- a seven-day posting on chicagotribune.com, plus a classified
listing and the ability to zone the ad. Web numbers located at the bottom of each print ad point prospective buyers to an expanded online property description, which includes a link to the agent's
website.
