Charles Schwab & Co. Inc. will be the first financial services company to advertise on TiVo, as the company kicks off a new advertising campaign this month to highlight the introduction of the
company's new lower trading prices. The campaign, developed by Austin ad agency GSD&M, consists of a broad range of radio and print placements beginning on June 15. Radio ads will run on national
networks as well as in key local markets through the week of June 21. Print placements include national news dailies as well as weekly news magazines and will run from June 15 into July.
As a
complement to the campaign, Schwab is also launching the first financial services showcase on the TiVo® platform. Schwab will treat golf fans to lessons, commentary and more from 2004 Masters
Champion and Schwab client Phil Mickelson in a TiVo showcase that debuts June 16 in conjunction with the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills in New York. The showcase will enable Schwab to provide fans with
more access to Phil Mickelson, extend the reach of its golf promotion and collect qualified leads from an affluent demographic.
