The unusual round of musical chairs played between radio sales giants Interep and Katz, appears to have ended up favoring Interep, according first half 2004 estimates released Monday by Interep. The
company said its same station share of national spot radio dollars has increased steadily for the past 5 months, giving it more than a full share point gain over the first half of 2003. At least part
of the results were due to a greater share of national spot radio ad budgets being reaped by Interep's station clients, which the rep firm attributed to increased sales and marketing activities.
