Undertone Offers 'Viewable' Impression Guarantee

Undertone, which has already begun offering guarantees to advertisers based on the performance of its rich media and video advertising units, this morning announced a new guarantee that the ads it serves will be "viewable." The aptly named Undertone Viewable Impression Guarantee, assures that ads running across its preferred publisher portfolio will be viewable based on the ad industry's 3MS standard: that 50% of the ad is in view for at least one second. Undertone did not say how the guarantee would bre applied, but previous guarantees offered to refund the full cost of a campaign up to $50,000.

Undertone said it is working with DoubleVerify and Moat as "launch partners" for viewability measurement
