AKQA And MSN Launch Online Promotion For Halo2

Adding fuel to the flames, AKQA and Microsoft yesterday launched another teaser for Xbox's massively anticipated sci-fi fantasy game, Halo 2. Microsoft announced last week that their broader five-month marketing campaign had led to over 1.5 million pre-orders for the Xbox-exclusive title in the United States alone, breaking video game records and guaranteeing first-day revenues higher than any movie in history. AKQA has developed online advertising campaigns for Microsoft's Xbox and PC since late 2000. The company won its global interactive advertising assignment in August of 2004. Past campaigns include promotions for the games "Fable" and "Rise of Nations."
