Google, NASA To Study A.I. With "Quantum Computer"

Google and NASA are creating a laboratory to study artificial intelligence. Their focus, as The New York Times’ Bits blog reports, will be “computers that use the unusual properties of
quantum physics.” Sometime later this year, the partners’ quantum computer, which performs complex calculations thousands of times faster than existing supercomputers, is expected to be up
and running.
