The average adult Internet user has 3.1 email accounts, which is up from 2.6 a year ago, according to a new survey from Harris Interactive poll commissioned by MyLife.com. According to the
research, email is still more popular than social networks. The survey found that adults had an average of 1.7 social media accounts. The survey found that 42% of respondents had more than one social
networking profile and 68% said they talked to different groups of friends in each network.
