MediaMath has partnered with and invested in TiqIQ, a ticket search engine. According to the release, TiqIQ powers more than 1,000 sports- and music-focused fan websites in addition to TiqIQ.com. The TiqIQ network has a claimed 30 million "sports and music fans." As a result of the partnership, marketers using MediaMath's TerminalOne platform will have access to the fan data.
Jesse Lawrence, TiqIQ's CEO, stated, "There's a huge opportunity to leverage big data in the ticket space." MediaMath's Co-founder and SVP of OPEN Partnership Greg Williams seems to agree. In the same statement, he said, "TiqIQ's unique footprint gives them great insight into the shopping habits and the interests of millions of online consumers."Follow @mp_tyler
