Google's Library Project

Remember the brick-and-mortar buildings filled with books and periodicals? The hard- and softcover binders have turned into digital content that is accessible from desktop, smartphones and tablets. It's now called the Internet. Through the Community Connections project, Google will give hundreds of nonprofit organizations, schools and government buildings free gigabit Internet connections, allowing people to search the Web and access information for free.
