Cloud platform Akamai Technologies has deployed FastTCP technology across its Akamai Intelligent Platform. Based on Akamai's 2012 acquisition of FastSoft, FastTCP is designed to optimize the
throughput of video and other digital content across IP networks. Implemented this quarter, the FastTCP technology is now an available capability of the Akamai Intelligent Platform.
