Mike Johnston has resurrected his note-taking app Simplenote. For the past two years, he's been busy building
Simperium, a syncing engine for apps.
This past January, Simperium was acquired by Automattic, which wanted to bring Simplenote back. For Johnston, the first step toward building a brand-new Simplenote was addressing users’
major request: support for more platforms besides iOS and the Web. Also, Simplenote.com got a URL.
