CoreMedia Taps GroupM's Walter As COO

Veteran Madison Avenue media techie Charlie Walter has joined the CoreMedia Systems as COO, replacing Jim Paull, who remains president of the direct response and performance-focused media data processing company. Walter joins from WPP’s GroupM, where he was Chief Information Officer, overseeing a team of more than 70 people.

Prior to GroupM, Walter was media/talent program director at Donovan Data Systems (now MediaOcean), and before that he was Chief Information Officer at Publicis’ Starcom MediaVest Group, where his responsibilities included supervising the startup of GM Planworks.
