South Korean security restrictions put in place after the Korean War limit Google's Maps and other services mainly because the government doesn't want the data to fall into the wrong hands, reports
The New York Times. The government under President Park Geun-hye wants to ease some of the Internet regulations to encourage industry to innovate. The government will allow Google and other
foreign companies to use Korea's maps beginning next year. There are other restrictions too.
