The Motion Picture Association of America, along with a group of Chinese Internet companies, is suing Baidu for allegedly violating copyright laws. The lawsuit -- a bit out of character for China --
includes a group of Internet companies: Tencent Holdings Ltd, Sohu.com, Youku Tudou, and others. Baidu released a statement emphasizing that it is committed to protecting the copyrights of the online
video industry.
