Georgia Tech has shut down the fraternity that made headlines for circulating an email last year that referred to women as "rarebit" for violation of the student code of conduct. The chapter of Phi
Kappa Tau will be suspended for three years. "It is unfortunate that this disciplinary action was needed, but Georgia Tech holds all of its student organizations accountable to the standard set by the
Student Code of Conduct," the university said in a statement.
