REVOLVING DOOR: Colleen DeCourcy Upped To Agency Partner At Wieden+Kennedy

Wieden+Kennedy elevated global co-executive creative director Colleen DeCourcy, to agency partner. DeCourcy joined Wieden+Kennedy in 2013 to partner with Dave Luhr and Mark Fitzloff on the W+K Global Management Team running W+K's eight independent offices. DeCourcy is the 11th agency partner at the agency, joining Dan Wieden, Dave Luhr, Mark Fitzloff, Susan Hoffman, Tom Blessington, Bill Davenport, John Jay, Neil Christie, Tony Davidson and Kim Papworth at the helm. In the 18 months since joining W+K, DeCourcy has worked throughout the global network. She has realigned existing digital developers and creative resources to create a new approach to technology development. She has also extended the creative department's capabilities beyond advertising, into both experience and product design. DeCourcy joined W+K in January 2013 from Socialistic, a social media content and design shop she founded, where she served as chief creative officer and CEO. Prior to starting her own company, DeCourcy served as TBWA Worldwide's first chief digital officer. "Over the last 18 months W+K has graciously taught me more than a few things about the making of good advertising, but this agency and this opportunity are so much bigger than that," commented DeCourcy. "Wieden, Luhr and Fitz have given me the space to be more than a 'digital person.' I am humbled and happily challenged by that. I'm equally excited by what the future holds for W+K."
