The Sprout it app serves as a virtual plant diary, allowing users to keep track of how their gardens should change throughout the season. Sprout it offers users customized guidance to help them plant, grow and harvest herbs and vegetables. The app -- which offers users instructions, milestones, alerts and tips -- also monitors the weather in users' locations, and tells them how to care for plants as conditions change.
