BrightTag, a cloud-based marketing tech provider, on Wednesday announced the appointment of Warren Billington as managing director, Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.

Billington joins BrightTag from Acxiom, where he worked on the company’s data, analytics and SaaS business in Australia and New Zealand. He was previously co-founder and CEO of 5th Finger, a mobile marketing company that was acquired by Merkle. He is based in Sydney.

“Warren’s appointment is a key component to the roll out of our Asia-Pacific strategy,” stated Marc Kiven, BrightTag’s founder and chief revenue officer. “He’ll be rapidly expanding his team to support the growth of current and future clients in the region.”
