IRA SUSSMAN, who has been overseeing the research efforts of the
Cabletelevision Advertising Bureau on a consulting basis since May, has been named full-time vice president of research
for the organization. He succeeds Jonathan Sims, who left CAB earlier this year to join Comcast Advertising Sales. Sussman will be responsible for guiding the media and marketing research efforts of
CAB, including serving as the primary liaison with the cable and advertising communities on research issues and initiatives. He was previously EVP–Director of IM Futures of Initiative Media.
