German Minister Pushes For Anti-Stress Regulations Which Would Ban After Hours Email

German Labor Minister Andrea Nahles is pushing for an "anti-stress regulation" requiring companies in Germany to reduce stress in the workplace. The new law would put an end to after hours email, as it would ban employers from contacting employees after hours. Recent studies have suggested that email after hours causes stress among employees. Chancellor Angela Merkel is against the law claiming that more information needs to surface before a ban is instituted.
