REVOLVING DOOR: JWT Promotes Two, Hires One In NY Office Restructure

J. Walter Thompson Company restructured its New York office by promoting two and hiring one. Lynn Power was elevated to president of J. Walter Thompson New York. Power will partner with Adam Kerj, newly hired chief creative officer, to lead the agency's New York office. Claire Capeci was promoted to the newly created role of global president, retail, J. Walter Thompson. She will head a retail discipline and continue to lead the Macy's and Energizer accounts. Power and Capeci previously served as managing directors of J. Walter Thompson New York. Both will continue to report to Gustavo Martinez, worldwide chief executive officer, J. Walter Thompson. Power joined J. Walter Thompson in March, 2014 from Arnold New York, where she served as president and managing partner. While there, she led many new business wins, including 23andMe, Alberto Culver, Del Monte, Kohler and Sanofi. Prior to that, she held roles at BBDO, Grey New York and Ogilvy & Mather. Kerj joins the agency from 360i, where he served as chief creative officer. Prior to 360i, Kerj was executive creative director and founding partner of Saatchi Sweden. Before that, he was executive creative director and founding partner at TBWA Sweden. Prior to joining J. Walter Thompson in 2007, Capeci was executive vice president, managing director, at Lowe Worldwide.
