A consumer watchdog group -- fittingly named Consumer Watchdog -- is appealing to the FTC to have Google’s right-to-be-forgotten policy expanded to U.S. consumers. “European users have the
right to request that right under a 2014 court ruling,” The Hill reports. “Under the concept … users can have Google remove certain links from the search results for their
name.”
