More marketers are about to have access to Teads’ “outstream” video ad unit via programmatic thanks to a partnership the company has struck with TubeMogul, a demand-side platform (DSP) with a focus in video.
The two companies on Wednesday announced a partnership that will allow TubeMogul clients to programmatically buy Teads’ unit via open exchanges and private marketplaces. Deal ID trading is also supported.
The “outstream” unit appears in non-traditional areas, such as in the body of an article. Publishers including Reuters, Forbes, the Washington Post and others are among those using Teads.
Teads has been expanding its programmatic partnerships this year. This spring the company struck a deal with Turn, another DSP.
Unfortunately for consumers, these "outstream" units are consistently at the top for bad user experience...
