NICK S. CYPRUS has been hired by
Interpublic Group of Cos. as vice president, controller and chief accounting officer. He replaces
DICK SNEEDER, who became controller at
Interpublic's McCann-Erickson WorldGroup in March. Cyprus had been vice president and controller of AT&T, where he also led the telecom's Sarbanes-Oxley implementation, financial systems oversight,
and cost-reduction initiatives. He has also been assistant corporate controller and chief accountant at AT&T, and before that served nine years at AT&T Capital Corp.
