InStyle has launched its third annual Social Media Awards, with nominees including Diane von Furstenberg, in the category “Finest Behind the Seams,” Mindy Kaling, in “Always There for the Fans,” Lena Dunham, for “Ultimate Celebrity Fitspo,” and Betty White as the “Rookie of the Year,” among others. After launching two years ago InStyle’s Social Media Awards exploded last year, with the total number of votes jumping from 350,000 in 2013 to 1.5 million in 2014. Meanwhile InStyle’s social footprint across all platforms has more than doubled, to around nine million.
