180 Amsterdam hired Melanie Portelli as client services director. She moves to Amsterdam from Now Advertising in London, where her role spanned running client business and new business development. Prior to that, she held business director, and new business director positions for Saatchi & Saatchi (both London and Sydney) and CHI & Partners. In her new role, Portelli will be working on current clients like PlayStation and new client wins yet to be announced. "What first attracted me to working with 180 Amsterdam? Simple," said Portelli. "The passion and talent of the people working here and an impressive body of work, which is only going to snowball in the next year. Amsterdam may be just a hop, skip and a jump from London but it is its own unique creative hub that stands its ground globally, and 180 is at the epicenter of that."
