Alec Casey has been appointed chief marketing officer of Trusted Media Brands, formerly known as the Reader’s Digest Association, the publisher announced this week. Before joining Trusted
Media Casey served as head of global circulation and production at Bloomberg, and was responsible for global consumer marketing and production for all titles, including Businessweek, which he helped
relaunch in 2010. He also held top positions at Hearst and Time Inc. This is Casey’s second stint at Trusted Media: he previously worked for the company on its U.S. Consumer Marketing team from
1995 to 2000.
