Online publisher Refinery29 is bolstering its sales team with the addition of two new execs on the business side. Buzzfeed’s Zach Davis and The New York Times’ Steve Shalit are joining Refinery29 to expand its lifestyle and video strategy capabilities for brand partners. Davis is joining as vice-president of global partnerships and video strategy. Shalit is joining as vice-president of strategic partnerships and ad product strategy. They will help Refinery29 serve brands across categories including auto, consumer packaged goods, consumer electronics, and financial services.
