Referral marketing company Extole announced a new partner program Tuesday to optimize acquisition-based marketing campaigns across mobile, email, Web, and offline channels.
Extole helps
enterprises acquire new customers through referrals from existing customers with its “refer-a-friend” software. Referrals are rewarded with coupons and loyalty codes as companies gain the
benefit of new business opportunities.
The new partner program has started out with a bang and recruited leading CRM, social, mobile, and email marketing companies as initial partners. Extole
has added ten marketing technology providers to its referral marketing platform, including Adobe, Branch Metrics, Bounce Exchange, Demandware, Ensighten, Marketo, Optimizely, Tealium, Vibes, and
Yozio.
“Referral marketing is an opportunity for retailers and brands to build stronger relationships with their customers,” states Tom Griffin, SVP of corporate development at
Demandware. “Partnering with Extole opens a new set of advocate marketing possibilities to the Demandware clients.”
Extole’s partner program was designed to help companies
integrate a referral marketing program through every step of the customer life cycle. Email marketers that utilize Extole in particular can benefit from the new partnerships with Adobe’s
customer relationship management system, Marketo’s consumer engagement and email automation capabilities and Optimizely’s A/B testing and mobile optimization solutions.
“We
know that referred customers are fundamentally better customers,” states said Matt Roche, CEO, Extole. “And they’re three times as likely to refer in another new customer, making
them an extremely powerful acquisition engine.”
Extole, which supports referral marketing programs in retail, consumer and financial services, names Starbucks, Microsoft, and Walmart
among its list of customers.
