Petition To Make California Politicians Wear Donors' Logos Gathers Momentum

Around 250,000 people have endorsed a plan that would mandate that all legislators in California display the names of their largest financial donors on their clothes. The plan was fielded by John Cox, a Republican from San Diego, in an effort to show that “California is not for sale.” Cox is trying to get the measure on the ballot in November. The goal is to collect 500,000 signatures by the end of April.
