Obama Becomes Fundraiser-In-Chief As Democratic Nomination Still Up In The Air

President Obama held nine fundraisers for Democratic candidates in the first three months of the year. As the Democratic race is taking a longer-than-expected route to a nomination, the president is taking his role as top Democratic fundraiser with increased urgency. He will go to California at the end of the week for additional fundraisers, and is expected to continue this type of activity for the remainder of the cycle.
