ToonsTV, Rovio’s in-game mobile video channel with more than 5.6 billion views, launched as an Android / iOS app in October 2015 with more than 30 channels of free, on-demand, video entertainment for the whole family.

Since its debut, ToonsTV has earned over 3 million downloads and averages 21 million views every month, earning it the #1 spot on Google Play’s list of Music & Video Apps for families.

Angry Birds Toons, Rovio’s original scripted animated series, is the crown jewel of the app which also includes Piggy Tales, Stella, and syndicated shows like Wallace and Gromit & Shaun the Sheep from Aardman Animation, Om Nom Stories, Qumi-Qumi and National Geographic’s Zooville.  Those who have the app can view new episodes of Angry Birds Toons, Stella and Piggy Tales two days before anyone else.

This app also offers video advertising, which Rovio says achieves high completion rates, offering marketers the opportunity to showcase branded video, clips and exclusives within the app as featured content on the home screen, or as a branded channel.
