PHE Inc—the parent company of several adult toy and entertainment brands— has found that triggered emails are the key to success. The company recently hired email services firm
Bronto to help send more automated and personalized emails. By adding automated marketing and segmentation to the emails sent by its brands BetterSex and the Sinclair Institute, the company has
seen increased sales. BetterSex has seen conversion rates double and reports a 180 percent increase in net profitability, and a 35 percent increase in year-over-year email
revenue.
