As a celebrity, when reeling from too much exposure and prurient speculation about your love life, the only recourse available is to star in a reality show--so says Britney Spears, who has agreed to star in a series for UPN about her life with husband Kevin Federline (who up until now has often been identified as "that guy standing next to Britney.") And in what is surely a major cost-control measure, the show's action is mainly told through "never-before-seen private home videos" the couple shot themselves during their courtship, engagement, and wedding. The truly unique aspect of the deal is that it includes repeat broadcasts of the series on MTV and/or VH1 music channels, which will run after the initial UPN broadcast sometime this season, a UPN spokesman said. -- D.K.
