Amazon Employee Sends Email to CEO Before Attempting Suicide at Work

An overworked Amazon employee unsuccessfully tried to commit suicide by jumping off of the company's headquarters in Seattle. The unnamed employee sent an email suicide note to CEO Jeff Bezos and co-workers before making the leap. The employee was reportedly hoping to switch departments, but was instead put on an employee improvement plan which could have resulted in losing his job if he didn't succeed.
