Following a review, Sharp HealthCare, a health care provider in San Diego, named Cactus, Denver, as its marketing agency of record. The Sharp HealthCare system includes four acute-care hospitals, three specialty hospitals, two affiliated medical groups, a health plan and various outpatient facilities and programs. Badami and Associates in San Diego previously handled the account.

The agency will handle strategic marketing and advertising for system, facility and service line campaigns; creative, branding and production for multiple campaigns; and media planning, buying, monitoring and optimization.

"The health care and communications fields are rapidly evolving," said Diane Lofgren, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Sharp. "Cactus demonstrated an understanding of our brand and how to express our value proposition across multiple channels in a way that resonates with the public."
