Facebook Users Split Over Validity Of 'News'

While nearly half of U.S. adults rely on Facebook as a source of news, less than half of those consumers trust the validity of the stories they find in their News Feeds. That’s according to a recent survey of about 3,000 U.S. adults from BuzzFeed News and Ipsos Public Affairs. Remarkably, about 30% of respondents said they didn’t consider stories from traditional media sources to be “news.”
