Apple Pursues Differential Privacy, New Way Of Protecting Consumers

Apple is expanding its use of differential privacy, a new system for maintaining consumer anonymity, as it builds its artficial intelligence capability.  Unknown outside of academic circles
until a year ago, differential privacy is based on algorithms that “blur the data being analyzed by adding a measurable amount of statistical noise,” Robert McMillan writes on Morningstar.
