OpenX Opens Mobile SDK For General Release, Claims Boost In App Developer CPMs

Digital audience exchange OpenX this morning announced it is rolling out a mobile SDK enabling app publishers to monetize their audiences via its programmatic marketplace.

The company said the general release follows “strong early results” with mobile app publishers it tested with, including iFunny, which is the focus of a case study benchmarking the SDK’s performance.

The study claims that the mobile SDK integration reduced iFunny’s “discrepancies” to less than 1% and that it experienced a 50% increase in its CPMs compared with conventional “tag-based” deals.
