European Court Restricts Employee Email Monitoring

Europe’s human rights court has limited the ability of companies to monitor their employees’ email. They can now do so only if workers are notified in advance, the court said -- scaling back an earlier ruling. With this ruling, Europe pulls away from existing law in the United States.
