Bollore Joins With No. 2 Havas Investor

Just days after winning four seats on Havas' 18-person board, French corporate raider Vincent Bollore said he has signed a "concert agreement" combining his 20 percent stake in the Paris-based agency holding company with a 4 percent stake held by Havas' second largest shareholder Sebastian Holdings Inc., reports the Dow Jones Newswires. Last week, Bollore denied he was mounting a takeover of Havas, which owns MPG, Arnold and other agencies, but he is seeking greater control over its strategic direction. -- J.M.
