Friedman To Lead MediaPost's West Coast, TV Coverage

Wayne Friedman, a top advertising and media industry journalist, has joined MediaPost as West Coast Editor. An accomplished columnist who created MediaPost's daily "TV Watch" journal last year, Friedman will lead MediaPost's coverage of the TV and entertainment industries, and will expand MediaPost's presence in the major West Coast media markets. Prior to MediaPost, Friedman was a contributing editor to TelevisionWeek, West Coast bureau chief for Advertising Age, and a frequent contributor to Hollywood trade publications, and major daily newspapers. "I've both worked with and competed against Wayne for much of my career as a media journalist and I can't think of a better journalist to lead MediaPost's expansion on the West Coast," said Joe Mandese, editor-in-chief, MediaPost.
