Carter Cast, who formerly held positions as vice president of Walmart.com and chief marketing officer at eBay, will assume the position of president at Walmart.com on July 5, Wal-Mart Stores confirmed
on Thursday. Cast, 41, takes over for John Fleming, who was promoted to chief marketing officer for parent company Wal-Mart in April. Cast will be responsible for the day-to-day operations at the
retailer's Web site, and will report directly to Fleming, Wal-Mart company said.
