McDonald's Taps NASCAR's Mitchell, Kimberly-Clark's Williams

McDonald's USA has added two new executives to its marketing team.

Kenny Mitchell, top, is joining the company as vice president of brand content and engagement, and LizetteWilliams, bottom, as head of cultural engagement.

Mitchell will lead cross-functional teams and agency partners to advance McDonald’s “storytelling” to drive brand engagement and loyalty. He will report to Morgan Flatley, chief marketing officer for McDonald’s USA.

Mitchell most recently served as head of consumer engagement for Gatorade, leading all global integrated marketing efforts. Prior to that post, he oversaw brand and consumer marketing for NASCAR. 

Williams will be responsible for “developing the company’s total market approach to building brand devotion within the multicultural consumer base,” according to the company.

She previously led multicultural marketing across all Kimberly-Clark North America businesses.
