Blue Chip Taps P&G's Joy Mead To Lead Brand Clients

Thirty-year Procter & Gamble veteran Joy Mead is joining the ad side as executive vice president/general manager, business leadership for marketing agency Blue Chip. 

Mead will lead the agency’s key brand and shopper marketing clients and oversee approximately 30 agency staffers.  She will split her time between offices in California and Chicago/Northbrook.

Throughout her extensive CPG career, Mead led large and diverse marketing teams covering  North American grocery retailers. As P&G's associate brand director, she oversaw marketing for its $9 billion grocery business. 

In addition to Mead, Blue Chip recently expanded its executive leadership team with the appointment  of industry vet Larry Deutsch as the agency’s chief growth officer, and Jamie Olson as senior vice president of business leadership.
