Tribune Entertainment and DreamWorks SKG have extended their TV syndication sales and advertising representation agreement, which includes DreamsWorks' 2004-05 slate of films. Current summer movies
"War of the Worlds" and "Madagascar," and wuch upcoming releases as Michael Bay's "The Island" are included in the deal. Other movies in the package are "Shrek 2," "The Terminal," "Collateral," and
"The Ring Two." The original agreement between the two companies was made in 2003. Tribune Entertainment has already cleared the package of movies on Tribune Broadcasting stations representing 22
major markets. Unlike other major studios that sell mostly their own shows, Tribune represents a number of outside producers in distribution, production, and advertising sales agreements. Those
companies include DreamWorks SKG, FremantleMedia North America, Hearst Entertainment, New Line Television, NBC Universal Television, and Sony Pictures Television. -- WF
