Google once again will allow ads to run on addiction-related keywords and phrases after a year-long ban and months of trying to figure out how to protect people searching for information on
addiction centers. As TechCrunch reports, a small group of providers vetted by a third party have been approved to once again serve up in search query results. These searches include phrases like
“help quitting pills” or “meth addiction."
